Sunday August 11, 2019 3:00-4:30 pm: Tapestry of Voices collaborative poetry reading celebrating John Greenleaf Whittier at the Whittier Home, 86 Friend Street, Amesbury, MA. Local poet, featuring Stephen R Wagner, Amesbury Poet Laureate, and local poets: cofounders of Tapestry of Voices, Harris Gardner and Lainie Senechal (first Amesbury Poet Laureate), Chris Bryant (President of the Whittier Home, Peter Bryant, Rhina Espaillat, Alfred Nicol, Priscilla Turner Spada, Debbie Szabo, Toni Treadway, Paulette Demers Turco, and Winners of the Garden of Verses Poetry Contest.

August 19, 2019 6:00-8:00 pm Remnant Brewery, 2 Bow Market Square, Somerville, MA hosts a potluck Poetry reading of Ibbetson Street # 45. Poets will bring a favorite food, bar is open, Poets who’s work appears in the issue read their poem and also, later another poem. Usually about 20 poets read. Event is free and open to the public.
