I saw photography as a way to help me with my drawing and painting that I began in 2016. It is much easier for me to represent a scene from a photo than en plein air or in three dimensional space. Painting and drawing has helped me frame my photos and select potential scenes to draw or paint. Visual art helps me with imagery in my poems. Here are some of my photos. These will change periodically. Three photos were used for cover art for books that include my poetry: my first chapbook, In Silence, and two Merrimac Mic anthologies (IV and V).
